Part 4

Lauren is finally heading north.  During this part of the novel, she is learning to trust more people as they travel.  Her walls are coming down and she is becoming sentimental towards those around her.  She is also opening up to the friends she is traveling with.  She tells them about Earthseed and she believes she is starting to convert those who want to learn more about her beliefs.  I am excited to see what it will be like when she is gets to where she is going.  I also believe she is starting to feel lonely because she is traveling with couples.  I believe this makes her stronger and more independent. I feel that she is becoming more independent and becoming like her father.
