Rebecca Gold Chapters 4 & 5

       The FBI finally became involved with Rocky Flats. They invaded the plant and investigated every managers & boss' office from floor to ceiling. Sifting through files they found a lot of evidence against Rocky Flats and took them to court. The jury went out for a long time and I was surprised with the outcome. While all of this is happening, Kris has moved on with her life. She moved to Germany with Andrew where she had her first son. But, in Kris' mind this whole time is the risk that their facing with their marriage. Divorce is constantly in her mind and it isn't until they move back to Colorado and have their second child Nathan, that they actually do get divorced. I feel like I can relate a lot to Kris. I felt us being similar from the very beginning when she had a horse and how she talked about her horse. I thought of myself when I got my horse and I felt very connected to her. Also, my parents are divorced so I can connect with her a lot on that level because I am afraid when I get married that it may happen to me as well. Kris is starting to get her life back together by saying at the end of the chapter that shes going to look for a job so she can support her two sons. I am anxious to see what is going to happen with her life, and also whats going to occur at Rocky Flats.
