I was
relieved to see that the FBI finally invaded Rocky Flats, but it still amazes
me how long it took for it to happen. I
was equally as happy to see that Kris went forward with her life, after being
so heartbroken after Mark. It was nice
to me that she has a new man in her life, and that she is able to love
again. Yet, her move to Germany had me
questioning whether she was running from her problems or not. Yet, I was disappointed when Rocky Flats,
once again, escaped any real trouble.
Getting fines are nothing compared to what they should have gotten after
endangering the lives of so many people.
It honestly makes me quite angry to think that the government will go so
far as to defend DOE, when they were so obviously guilty and at fault. The people were completely aware to what
really was going on, they knew DOE was guilty and that DOE and Rockwell were
let off extremely easy. Is escaping
blame really so much more important than the people’s approval, especially when
the people already know who is to blame?
