Another quote that relates to me deals with the glove-box fire. "The flames reach as high as three or four feet" (Iversen, page 293). As a volunteer firemen in West Chester, these situations pump me up. It is my first time volunteering and I am very excited to learn how to fight fires and help to assist those who need my help in an emergency. When i read this part of the chapter my heart was racing. I truly believe that I was producing adrenaline as I read these lines. I could picture myself in the firemen's shoes. It was an exciting part of the story for me.

FBB Chapter 7 John Zim
I found this chapter to be very emotional. As I read, I could not help but to let my mind wander into my own thoughts and beliefs on the content. The portion of the chapter that impacted me deals with Tamara Smith Meza and her battle with cancer. Iversen said, "With her family's help, Tamara finds a doctor in New York who offers alternative treatment for her type of cancer..."(page 287). This line from chapter seven grabbed my attention the most. I feel that it is extremely important for you to do anything you can to help the people you love. You should be able to endure anything for them. It is your responsibility to protect ones you love, and it is your duty to face the hardships that they have to face with them. If something is hurting the ones you love you should get involved and help.
