Jacob Brown FBB 4&5

   One of the shocking parts of the book was the attitude of the workers. They were more worried about the plant closing and losing their jobs than the pollution. What good is a job if you get cancer in a few years. The managers of Rocky Flats told their employees that whistle blowers would be punished. When  employees did testify their fellow employees harassed and criticized them. Some even poked holes in a whistle blowers gloves, exposing her to plutonium. Maybe some didn't know the extent of the contamination that they were causing, but shouldn't they have realized that if all that was being said was true, losing their jobs would be a small sacrifice in the grand scheme of things
