          I do not understand the way Kris is thinking. After everything that she has seen go wrong with her family, and the neighboring families in her town, why would she go back? Kris is simply taking steps backwards when she can be moving on with her life. Even though she has dealt with a lot of hardships in her life I do not think going back to her hometown is the best choice. I think this is only going to hold her back from prospering in her world instead of letting her grow and start a new life with her kids. By going back home, she is putting her kids at risk of plutonium and that does not seem right to me. As caring of a mother that she is, I think she is making a very big mistake.
