Renner Group Ideas
Formulating an
idea for a class project is far more arduous then I thought. My only feasible
idea would be to conduct a research project regarding alternative energy
sources. Moreover its focus would be to evaluate
the plausibility of each energy source (such as solar, wind, geothermal, etc.)
and propose methods of implementation. In addition we could assess the efficiency
of each alternative energy sources, or compare the pros and cons of each. This
project is not necessarily confined to merely writing it may also contain a
presentation of some sort, whether it is an in-class presentation or video. Of
course devising such a project would require extensive research upon the
various types of alternative energy. There could also be a group project of a
similar nature which would conclude with a class presentation.
Great idea, Chad. I could imagine the class shooting film of various meetings with various persons who are "in the know"... Or perhaps we could divide the class into workgroups that would each research a different energy source, and then put all of our research together at the end of the term? Maybe we could make the document one that would be handed out to college students and appeal to their sensibilities? Just ideas. Think more on this and come prepared to talk about it in class tomorrow.
