Proposal
General guidelines
for proposals are attached. Applications must include concrete plans as
to how the project will be completed.
Instructions
All sections of the proposal form must be completed.
The application includes four
parts:
1. Application Form – cover page. An abstract must be included on the
cover page (maximum 250 words) that summarizes the intended goals and outcomes
of the project.
2. Project
Description. Times New Roman, double
spaced, 12-point font. The description should indicate
ways in which
the project meets the established
priorities outlined by the class. The Project Description
should use the
headings listed below.
A. Project Significance. Why are you undertaking this project and how
does what you propose relate to your understanding of this WRT 120 course, its
content, its assignments, and its goals? Describe the thesis to be answered or
explored. Provide bibliography of four scholarly sources you will consult.
B. Procedures. Explain how
you will go about studying your subject, how the project will be implemented, the methods, materials,
supplies or other resources that will be used to carry out the work, and state the project’s specific objectives.
