FBB Chapter 3 Consorti

This chapter things seem to be really picking up. Before it was only families around her, or hearsay when relating rocky flats radiation to home. Now Kurt is showing signs of cancer, along with some other neighborhood kids. This coupled with the death of Mark seems to be almost an unrealistic amount of pain to throw at a person. It is hard to believe she had to suffer through this, all with an alcoholic father. Her relationship with him continues to diminish as time passes and as she observes his treatment of the mother. As she matures she is beginning to learn more and more, which also relates the the developments of the radiation situation. As Kristen matures and realizes the problems of her father, the community slowly wakes up with the citizen watchdog group. As the story progresses I'm going to look out for more similarities between her life, and the developments of rocky flats.
