Parable of the Sower (pages 196-244): Ryan Panko

                Earthseed looks more and more possible as Lauren’s traveling group grows. Now, with a larger group, Earthseed itself has grown. However, being so welcoming can be dangerous. It seems that in Lauren’s world it is easy to put your trust into the hands of a thief or murderer without even realizing it. I am suspicious of the new members of the group and would not be surprised to see that one is hiding a secret. These new group members seem like decent people, but in my opinion cannot be trusted. Hopefully Lauren will not put her guard down. She suddenly seems more trusting. At the beginning of their journey she would not allow what seemed like any interaction between the three of them and strangers. But now, that is not the case. I think Lauren is getting a little too comfortable around these strangers and that can easily spell trouble for her safety.
