Loren Killian FBB ch.1

The very beginning of the book started off kind of slow. I wasn't sure if i was going to like it, but as i read it started to pick up. I almost think I like this book better than Parable of the Sower because that seemed so far-fetched. Full Body Burden is much easier to connect with. It's believeable because it really happened. The family has many unspoken secrets and issues just like all families have in some way. I find it very scary that the government didn't tell the people of Rocky Flats how dangerous there situation reall was. This was during a time when everyone still trusted the government. Whatever they told you must be true, so no one questioned their own safety. I feel like the government should have at least told them that it would be best for the families to move away if they could. It will be intersesting to see what other problems will arise in the city because of the meltdown.
