IDEAS FOR GROUP PROJECT:
Researching energy resources; deciding which is better short
term and/or long term.
Researching what our kids will inherit: i.e., resources,
technology, lifestyle.
Travel to Chile to research water collection from fog.
Researching the way technology breaks down our place-based connection
(as well as our connection to the earth; Nicole told us that touching dirt
reduces our serotonin, making us happier); while also researching the ways
technology might ‘save’ us/the world (solar panels, wind energy, global communication,
just to name a few things).
Letters to politicians and representatives about particular
regulations.
