Chapter 3 FBB Kasey Gould

                Rocky Flats is finally under pressure from scientists, researchers, and protesters. Protesters are arrested all the time and still come back to fight the power.  Protesters including Kristen’s boyfriend do what they can to have the plant moved or made safe. Kristen’s boyfriend Mark is the first guy in her life that actually is supportive of her and their all the time for her. Her father is still in his old ways as an alcoholic not seeming to really care about his family. As Billy Joel said only the good die young. If you really think about if somebody had to die shouldn't it have been the absent alcoholic father not the guy who’s respectful, supporting, and loving. The more dysfunctional Kristen’s life becomes the more progress is made in the protesters taking on Rocky Flats.
