Jenny Pollack Group Ideas

I really like the big twitter campaign idea. As we discussed in class, technology is a huge part of our lives and many people are constantly on their phones. Tons of people have twitter and using it for our project could get tons of people involved. I think we could us twitter to inform people about how to become green and find more ways for West Chester to become a green or greener campus.

    Jenny,
    Do you know about coltan? It's a mineral that's used for making cell phone batteries, and people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are often exploited while extracting it... I wonder what a cell phone campaign over coltan might look like? But your idea, of course, is more doable, and might do more in the long run. Tomorrow I will share with the class all that is presently happening on campus as far as making the campus "more green" is concerned.
