Idea? or not so much of an idea.. :Nicole Cassell
Reading this chapter really makes me wish that I was as passionate about something as the protesters of Rock Flats. I know we are supposed to post an idea for our group project, but I just cant seem to come up with anything that goes with the theme of our class. I do hope that whatever we come up with in class means something to a lot of people or at least some people in our class. I think it would be cool if we did some kind of protest or raised money for something. Maybe raise money to buy some fresh food to give to students. As a freshman, I sure as hell miss my moms cooking more than anything. Just a fresh apple would be nice. We could raise money and go apple picking? My ideas stink, I hope my classmates are more creative.

ReplyDeleteThere's some interest in getting a farmer's market on campus, some interest in attempting to make some of the food here come from local farms... But it's in the beginning stage of development. A protest could really raise the attention of the President... We'd need a lot of student support.
